NPL Construction has announced that starting May 21, 2025, it will close single lanes on northbound Carroll Avenue between Sherman Avenue and Jefferson Avenue in Takoma Park to replace a gas line.
The closures will be in effect Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with work continuing for 90 days, weather permitting, until September 21, 2025.
Pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be managed through the work zone by temporary traffic control devices and flagmen. Traffic Engineering Services will set up proper signage and facilitate pedestrian detours.
