Mattress and More Liquidators to Close Doors For Upcoming Wawa, Goodbye Event Set for June

Mattress and More Liquidators, located at 15595 Old Columbia Pike, is hosting a “Goodbye to Burtonsville Day” as the family-owned mattress store prepares to close its doors to make way for Montgomery County’s second Wawa location.

The “Goodbye to Burtonsville Day” event will take place on Saturday, June 28th, from 12 PM to 8 PM. Attendees can enjoy free raffle giveaways, music, food trucks, and a live auction of any remaining inventory. Additionally, a portion of the day’s sales will be donated to Burtonsville Elementary School.

Earlier this week, Burtonsville bid farewell to its 7-Eleven at 15585 Old Columbia Pike. Both buildings are slated for demolition to pave the way for the new Wawa, which will occupy the current sites of the 7-Eleven and the adjacent Mattress and More Liquidators.
