Shake Shack Signs on for Fourth Montgomery County Location

Shake Shack will open its fourth Montgomery County location, with the Business Journal reporting that the New York-based burger restaurant will open at 7535 Old Georgetown Road in Downtown Bethesda.

According to the Business Journal, Shake Shack will occupy the former SunTrust space in Element 28, an apartments-over-retail tower at 7535 Old Georgetown Road. It will join Bethesda Row’s Five Guys and Z Burger– both formerly located in the BGR space on Fairmont Ave.– as another fast-casual option for burgers in Bethesda.

Shake Shack has additional MoCo locations in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood, inside Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, and in Cabin John Village in Potomac– which opened back in September of 2018 and was the first in the county.
