Join Montgomery Parks on Saturday, June 14, 2025, for some down and dirty fun at the fifth Mudfest. The annual celebration features giant man-made mud pits prime for slipping, sliding and splashing.
Mudfest is hosted by the Black Hill Discovery Center. Parks’ staff prepare the mud in advance by screening for rocks and making sure it is the perfect texture for sculpting and sliding. Features include a giant mudslide, a mud volcano, and a pop-up kitchen for making mud pies.
Mudfest fun will be fueled by food available for purchase from El Jefe Woodfired Pizza and snow cones from Clayboy’s Shave Ice. A DJ will provide the soundtrack and souvenir T-shirts, toys and accessories will be on sale.
