Update: The grand opening of Trader Joe’s at 225 N. Washington St. in Rockville Town Square scheduled for Thursday, June 12, was delayed due to a power outage. The store officially opened its doors at 1pm.
The new store takes over the former Dawson’s Market space, which closed last summer after twelve years in operation.
Known for its unique and affordable products, friendly service, and emphasis on organic and specialty items, this is now the fourth Trader Joe’s location in Montgomery County. It joins existing stores in Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring, and another Rockville store on Darnestown Road (internally referred to as the North Potomac location).
Parking lot improvements near the new Rockville Town Square location were recently completed ahead of today’s opening.
