Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Swift Water Team responded Friday to the Potomac River near the Virginia shoreline for reports of two people in the water.
According to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos, one adult male was rescued and is being transported with non-life threatening injuries. A second person (minor) was also rescued and is being transferred to National Capitol Park Police to be brought back to family.
