The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) responded to a call regarding an alligator wandering the property at the Budget Host Travelers Motel in Alexandria, Virginia late Sunday night (video below).
Upon arrival, an officer confirmed that an alligator was indeed loose and wandering at the motel. According to DMV News Live, the alligator escaped from the bed of a truck during a stop while it was being transported to a zoo. A lift was needed to place the alligator back inside the truck. The officer stated that the alligator was approximately 6 feet long.
