Wegmans is set to open its ninth Maryland location on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1590 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852 in the new Twinbrook Quarter development.
The new store will welcome customers “by 9 am” and will operate daily from 6am to midnight. Under the management of Jamie Dominick, who started with the company 22 years ago and was previously the Germantown store manager, the 80,000 SF store will employ over 400 staff members.
The culinary team will be headed by Executive Chef Joe Serock, who will oversee a group of more than 70 culinary employees in Restaurant Foods. Together, they will prepare a diverse array of offerings daily, including sandwiches, salads, soups, pizza, sushi, and a variety of packaged meal options, including:

Signature Bowl Station features chef-developed, complete meals with 20 to 40 grams of protein and a serving of veggies in every bowl.

Fresh sushi and poke bowls are available in a variety of vegetable, cooked, and raw selections—all made with no gluten containing ingredients.

The Marche station offers freshly made chef-developed salads, sandwiches, and soups.

To enhance the shopping experience, the store will offer 12 full-service registers and 17 self-checkout stations, along with an additional five self-checkouts dedicated to prepared foods. Parking will be convenient with 672 spaces available across two levels, G1 and G2, including eight charging stations on the first level. Wegmans shoppers will be able to enjoy the first two hours of parking free of charge.
