La Vina Mexican Grill, located at 749 S. Frederick Ave. in Gaithersburg, will permanently close its doors on Sunday, June 29th.
For the past eight years, La Viña has been a vibrant part of the community, occupying the space once home to Alicia’s Grill at the Walnut Hill shopping center.
After deciding not to renew the lease, the restaurant confirmed its impending closure in a phone call Wednesday evening. To mark the occasion, La Viña will be offering specials on its final day, including, 2-for-$5 tacos, Buy one, get one free drinks at the bar, and a raffle during the last hour featuring bottles from the bar. The restaurant will be open from 11am until 9pm on Sunday.
