The Tot Space, which opened at 1231A Rockville Pike last summer, announced that it will be closing its physical location and moving to a dynamic mobile model. To commemorate the closing of the physical studio and to celebrate the community that has grown over the years, the Tot Space is hosting one final Open Play Day. This special event is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, from 9:30 AM to noon.
In the last year, the Tot Space has been a cherished hub for physical enrichment programming, providing a space where movement, sports, music, and creative play have fused to foster growth and joy among preschoolers and early learners. A social media post shared that rising overhead costs have made it challenging to continue maintaining the current space.
In this exciting new mobile phase, the Tot Space will travel to preschools and early learning centers across the region, enabling more children to experience its stimulating activities and vibrant energy. With a full heart, we’re sharing that The Tot Space will be closing its physical location, but this isn’t goodbye, it’s a new beginning. Rising overhead costs have made it tough to continue in our current space, but the mission lives on.
We’re excited to announce our transition to a mobile model, bringing our signature physical enrichment programming: movement, sports play, music & more – directly to preschools and early learning centers across the area. Same heart, same energy, just on the go!
