Suspect Pulls Knife After Stealing Merchandise in Wheaton Mall

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a female suspect who stole merchandise from a store on the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton on June 3, 2025, and displayed a knife before fleeing the scene in a black van.

According to MCPD, the female suspect entered the store and stole merchandise. When the suspect was stopped with the stolen merchandise, she displayed a knife and left the scene in a black van. The suspect is described as a Black female wearing a red shirt with a graphic print, black hat, black leggings, white shoes and a possible tattoo on her inner left forearm.
