A building fire occurred at 764 Quince Orchard Blvd. near Rabbit Rd in Gaithersburg around 10am Tuesday morning.
The fire prompted a response from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS). According to Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, the fire was visible upon arrival on the third floor of the building. Multiple units from MCFRS were dispatched to the scene, including engines E731, PE722, PE734, PE732, and PE728, along with trucks T734 and AT703. Rescue units RS703 and A708, as well as battalion chiefs BC705 and BC703, also responded to the emergency.
As a precautionary measure, the building was evacuated to ensure the safety of its occupants. Firefighters are working control the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. Further updates on the situation, including the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage, are expected as the investigation continues.
