Signage Up At Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Gaithersburg, First of Four Upcoming Montgomery County Locations

Signage has officially been installed at the upcoming Buffalo Wild Wings GO location in Gaithersburg, marking the first of four new locations in Montgomery County to make this visible step.

While the exterior signage is now in place, significant interior construction work remains to be done. The exact opening date for this location at the Rock Grove Center on the corner of 355 and Shady Grove Rd next to Qdoba is still to be determined. A photo of the interior can be seen below.

Buffalo Wild Wings introduced its first ‘Buffalo Wild Wings GO’ (BWWGO) concept in Georgia in 2020. This scaled-down version of the restaurant focuses on to-go and delivery services, catering to customers who prefer a quick and convenient dining experience. The Gaithersburg location is the first to display its signage, but it’s still uncertain which of the four new locations will open first.

In addition to Gaithersburg, BWWGO has signed on for locations in several other areas within the county. In Olney, BWWGO will take over the former Three Points Cycles space at 3231 Spartan Rd, which closed last Memorial Day. Another location is set to open in Burtonsville at the previous Subway site at 15500B Old Columbia Pike, within the Burtonsville Village Center.

Further expanding its presence, BWWGO will be part of the upcoming Crossroads at Kensington development, situated at 10619 Connecticut Avenue (at Plyers Mill Road) in Kensington. Although specific opening dates for these four BWWGO locations have not been announced, they are all expected to launch this year, bringing convenient dining options to various parts of Montgomery County.
