Get ready to dance! Rising Star Studio, located at 18505 N Frederick Ave. in the Gaithersburg S.C. shopping center (near Bruster’s) is celebrating its Grand Opening on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The community is invited to join in the festivities, which will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Gaithersburg City Council Members.
The event promises an exciting afternoon with various demo sessions and guest and instructor performances. A special highlight will be a performance by Sabor Latino, a group well-known in the community. Following the performances, attendees can join a Social Dance Day Party.
Rising Star Studio, founded by owner Aranda Brown, a Gaithersburg High School teacher and sponsor of Sabor Latino, emphasizes passion, growth, and teamwork within the community. Brown, recently recognized by the City Council with “Sabor Latino Day,” expressed gratitude for the community’s support, “NONE of this is possible without all of YOU.”
The studio boasts a talented team of instructors and is committed to expanding its program offerings based on community interest.
