Last year, Bowlero Corporation announced a rebrand to Lucky Strike Entertainment. This transformation includes a change in the company’s legal name and a switch of its stock ticker symbol from NYSE: BOWL to NYSE: LUCK, marking a new chapter in for the company. The first of the local rebrands will launch within a party at Lucky Strike Rockville, located at 15720 Shady Grove Rd. in Gaithersburg.
In addition to the Shady Grove Rd. location, the rebranding effort will eventually roll out across Bowlero’s locations, including in Bethesda’s Westbard Square and the former Bowl America on Clopper Rd. in Gaithersburg. Lucky Strike also has a presence at Westfield Montgomery Mall. While the timeline for the rebranding at these locations is set within the next year and a half, ‘Lucky Strike Rockville’ is first in line to experience the transformation.
The “Lucky Launch Party” at 15720 Shady Grove Rd. will take place on Saturday, August 9th, from 12 PM to 3 PM. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon filled with free bowling, arcade play, food specials, and more. To join the celebration, RSVP here.
So, what is Lucky Strike? It’s a destination that offers blacklight bowling, an expansive interactive arcade, a bar, a lounge, and a menu of eats and cocktails. According to the event page, bowling will be based on lane availability and may be limited to one game per guest at the discretion of management, with no lane reservations available. Each guest will receive a $10 arcade card, valid only on the day of the event.
