The Pike District will host a free community concert featuring America’s Got Talent contestant Anna Wilson on Monday, August 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pike District Pop-Up Park in North Bethesda.
The event celebrates Wilson’s recent success on the national stage and offers a chance for local fans to see her perform live. Attendees can also enjoy food trucks and family-friendly activities as part of the evening’s festivities.
A 2022 graduate of Gaithersburg High School, Anna continued her musical journey at Duquesne University’s School of Music in Pittsburgh.
Recently, Anna Wilson’s path to national recognition took an unexpected turn when her mother secretly signed her up to audition for America’s Got Talent. Believing she was attending a VIP experience, Anna was surprised on stage and went on to audition, with another twist occurring mid-performance that captivated both the audience and judges.
America’s Got Talent, which began airing in 2006, features performers of all ages and talents, from singing and dancing to comedy and variety acts. Contestants are evaluated by a celebrity panel—currently Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Mel B—with viewer voting playing a key role in determining who advances.
