Get ready for a morning of colossal fun as the Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) hosts its popular ‘Touch-A-Truck’ event this Saturday, August 2nd. From 9 AM to 12 PM, the parking lot of the North Creek Community Center (20125 Arrowhead Rd., Montgomery Village, MD) will transform into a wonderland of trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
This hands-on event offers a unique opportunity for kids and adults alike to explore massive machinery that they usually only see from afar. Imagine climbing into the driver’s seat of a fire truck, feeling the power of a construction vehicle, or getting a closer look at emergency response units. Attendees will have the chance to climb inside, sit down, and even beep the horns or blare the sirens.
Understanding that some young attendees might be sensitive to loud noises, the MVF has thoughtfully designated a “quiet hour” from 9 AM to 10 AM. During this time, sirens and horns will be silenced, providing a more calm and accessible experience for everyone.
