Maryland Teen Named to 2025 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup Team

Zoe Cusack, a 17-year-old from Potomac, Maryland, has been selected to represent the United States on the 2025 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team.

A rising senior at Winston Churchill High School, Zoe secured her spot after finishing runner-up at the 2025 Girls’ Junior PGA Championship. She has had a standout season, with victories at the Maryland Girls’ Junior Amateur and the AJGA Junior in Indiana, and is verbally committed to the University of Virginia. Coached by John Scott Rattan at Congressional Country Club, Zoe will compete alongside five other top junior girls in a coed U.S. team against Team Europe, September 23–25 in New York.

The U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team is made up of 12 of the nation’s top junior golfers, six boys and six girls, who compete in a biennial international tournament against their European counterparts. The event includes team and singles match play and is held in conjunction with the Ryder Cup to showcase the next generation of elite golfers.
