Mezcal Cantina is now open at 8777 1st Ave. in Silver Spring. The new restaurant, a rebranding of the former Tacos Way Mexican Grill, brings an expanded menu and a fresh twist on traditional Mexican dishes.
Mezcal Cantina is a sister brand to Tacos Way, with additional locations also in Lutherville, MD and Washington DC. The Silver Spring location joined the family earlier this summer, as first reported by Source of the Spring, offering a more extensive selection than its predecessor. Diners can find unique items like a Birria Grilled Cheese, Birria Pizza, and even Ramen de Birria. The new menu also features a variety of tacos, appetizers, and other Mexican favorites.
Located on the ground floor of the Arrive Silver Spring apartment building, Mezcal Cantina is very active on social media with various posts on Instagram from its three restaurants to showing with the restaurant has to offer.
