Pilar Sanders, the proud mother of NFL players Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, was seen cheering on her son, Shilo Sanders, in a custom outfit designed by Montgomery County’s Passion For Ezra. The outfit was worn for Shilo’s preseason debut with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he made an impression with a significant hit and a tackle.
The custom “28” outfit, representing Shilo’s jersey number, was a creation of Passion For Ezra, a business based right here in Montgomery County. Pilar shared the look on her social media, expressing her pride as a proud mom, “Tampa Time! Gotta be there for my first born!” Sports Illustrated shared that the outfit was created from a modified “12” outfit, which is Tom Brady’s mom.
Passion For Ezra is a custom apparel business owned and operated by Monica and Taylor Blakely who were raised in Gaithersburg. The business, which is also veteran-owned and female-owned, creates a variety of custom items, including shoes, clothing, and more. Passion For Ezra gained national attention when they designed a custom jacket and shoes for Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce, to wear during Super Bowl LVII. The apparel was designed to represent both of her sons’ teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. The shoes were later donated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Passion For Ezra is based in Columbia, Maryland, but also operates out of Rockville/Olney. Many in the area have visited the home in MoCo for photoshoots with Santa, Valentine’s Day, the Easter Bunny, and more.
