Cinnaholic Closes Permanently

Cinnaholic, the popular gourmet vegan cinnamon roll bakery, has closed its only Montgomery County location. The shop, located at 230 Crown Park Avenue in Gaithersburg’s Downtown Crown neighborhood, is listed as permanently closed on Google and no longer included on the Cinnaholic website.

Cinnaholic first opened its Gaithersburg doors in July 2020, bringing a unique concept to the area that had gained national attention after being featured on the television show “Shark Tank.” The bakery was celebrated for its 100% vegan menu, offering customers the ability to customize their cinnamon rolls with a wide variety of frosting flavors and toppings.

The Gaithersburg location, which was a favorite among local dessert lovers and those with dietary restrictions, had been operating for approximately five years. While the company has not made a public statement regarding the reason for the closure, the shop’s sudden absence marks the end of Cinnaholic’s presence in Montgomery County.

For those looking to get their Cinnaholic fix, the closest locations are now outside of the county, with Maryland locations in Baltimore, Gambrills, and Owings Mill.
