UPDATE: The adult male victim has been transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Montgomery County Police 5th District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a shooting around 6:47 p.m. Thursday in the 9800 block of Bethesda Church Road in Damascus.
According to police, a male victim was located with unknown injuries. One suspect is in custody, and the scene has been secured.
