Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a minor aircraft emergency at Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg on Thursday, August 21, after a small plane overshot the runway and landed in a grassy area.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, there was no fire, no hazardous materials, no reported injuries, and the occupants were evaluated on scene. We will provide an update if additional verified information becomes available.
