On Friday, August 22, Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 3rd District officers recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested the driver in Downtown Silver Spring near Colesville Road and Fenton Street.
According to 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos, the vehicle was confirmed to have been stolen from Washington, D.C., and the arrest was made safely. We will provide an update if additional verified information becomes available.
