On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, Metrorail will open at 6 a.m. and close at midnight, operating on regular Sunday schedules at all stations. Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule. MetroAccess customers may make a reservation to travel on the holiday; however, subscription trips will be canceled.
Summer construction on the southern end of the Green Line will conclude this holiday weekend. Naylor Road, Suitland, and Branch Av stations will remain closed Saturday, Aug. 30 and Sunday, Aug. 31, with free shuttle buses replacing trains. All three stations will reopen for service on Monday, Sept. 1. Service information for Monday, September 1:
