According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the patient was evaluated, treated, and packaged at the scene. Due to the remote, rocky terrain and low water levels, he was hoisted out and transported by the US Park Eagle Medevac helicopter to a nearby trauma center.
We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
