The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who may have been in or near the Wayne Avenue Garage on December 21, 2022, as investigators believe he could have information relevant to an ongoing homicide investigation.
The investigation involves the fatal shooting of Charles Reynolds, 62, of Silver Spring, who was bringing leftovers to his vehicle after dining with his family at a nearby restaurant when he was shot and killed in the garage stairwell. Police say it did not appear to have been a robbery, as none of the victim’s personal items were taken.
