Rockville Unveils New ‘Town Center’ Bridge Design

Visitors to, and those driving by, Rockville Town Center will now be greeted by a bold new look on the pedestrian bridge over Rockville Pike. On Thursday, the City of Rockville’s Department of Public Works (DPW) Operations Maintenance staff installed large window decals spelling out “Town Center” with the city’s new signature branded “R”.

The design, featured on both sides of the WMATA pedestrian bridge is visible to both pedestrians and motorists traveling through the heart of the city. The city announced the new addition on social media, sharing images of the refreshed bridge, which spans Rockville Pike near the Town Center. “A new welcome to Rockville Town Center!” the post read, celebrating the installation as a new landmark feature.
