Nesfield Performance Opens in Bethesda

Bethesda has a new destination for health, performance, and community with the September 6th soft opening of Nesfield Performance, a boutique training and wellness studio founded at 7832 Wisconsin Ave. by Tiffany Nesfield. The facility brings together personal training, physical therapy, massage, and nutrition under one roof, offering a uniquely collaborative and comprehensive approach to fitness (video preview below).

For Nesfield, the opening of her first brick-and-mortar studio is the culmination of a vision that began during her time as a research intern at Walter Reed Medical Center. “I noticed a major disconnect between doctors, physical therapists, and personal trainers,” she said. “Clients often received conflicting protocols, which highlighted the lack of a cohesive approach. That experience sparked my vision to create a space where professionals could collaborate to provide the best, most unified care possible.”

Nesfield’s career has been deeply rooted in the Bethesda area, where she worked as a trainer at Equinox before building a successful private practice. When the pandemic forced her to move her business into a home gym setup, it became clear that a permanent space was necessary to grow and better serve her clients.

Located in the heart of Bethesda, Nesfield Performance offers a boutique, high-touch environment with one-on-one and semi-private training, small group classes, and unlimited access to a recovery center. Guided by five pillars: Mindset, Regeneration, Nutrition, Physical, and Lifestyle, the studio’s mission is to help clients build sustainable habits and achieve long-term results.

Community engagement is also a cornerstone of Nesfield’s vision. The studio will host workshops, educational courses, and events designed to connect clients, wellness professionals, and local organizations. Through the Nesfield Performance Foundation, Nesfield has already brought together nonprofits, businesses, and residents with initiatives like the Metro Move Fest, and she plans to strengthen these partnerships with a permanent home base.

Membership options are designed for accountability, offering three, six, and twelve-month commitments that include training, classes, and access to in-house therapy and recovery services. “I want people to feel safe, confident, and excited the moment they walk through our doors,” Nesfield said.

The grand opening celebration that’s scheduled for Saturday, September 27th will feature class demonstrations, local vendors, raffles, and a special program to mark the milestone. Nesfield hopes her studio will not only set a new standard for wellness in Bethesda but also become a trusted community hub. “Nesfield Performance is more than a gym,” she said. “It’s a place where clients, professionals, and the larger community can come together to thrive.”
