The Montgomery County Police Departmemt (MCPD) responded to a reported shooting on Saturday night in Silver Spring, with no injuries or property damage reported. The Maryland-National Capital Park Police is handling the investigation.
According to MCPD, “at 9:49 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to a shooting in the 19000 block of Long Branch Parkway. Preliminarily, no injuries or property damage have been reported. The investigation is active and ongoing.
