Inju Korean BBQ has closed its Wheaton Mall restaurant at 11160 Veirs Mill Rd, Lower Level LLH 15. The restaurant has been closed for several days, is listed as permanently closed on Google, and phone calls have gone unanswered.
The restaurant first opened in March 2022 as Jongro BBQ before rebranding as Inju in late 2024. As part of the rebrand, the business introduced premium meats and several new menu items. A former employee confirmed that the Wheaton location shut down in the second half of August 2025 and the Wheaton location is no longer listed on the Inju website.
Inju continues to operate a location in Annapolis and has announced plans to expand into Northern Virginia, with a new restaurant coming soon to Sterling, VA.
