Wild Birds Unlimited, a popular nature specialty retail store, is preparing to open its first location in Montgomery County. The store will be located at 9735 Traville Gateway Drive in Rockville, taking over the space that was home to My Best Friend’s Closet for nearly a decade before it closed a couple of years ago.
Known for its focus on backyard bird feeding and nature products, Wild Birds Unlimited offers a wide range of items including bird feeders, seed blends, and outdoor accessories. The company also emphasizes education, employing Certified Birdfeeding Specialists who provide expert advice to customers looking to attract and care for wild birds in their own backyards.
The Rockville store is currently listed as “coming soon,” and while an official opening date has not yet been announced. This will mark the first Wild Birds Unlimited store in Montgomery County, adding to the brand’s growing presence in Maryland and across the country.
