Germantown resident Alexis Adams Gerard recently got a surprising piece of mail that left her in stitches– a flyer announcing the arrival of “Germantown’s First Nude Cigarette Bar.”
The colorful postcard touted “the elegance of tobacco” and “the comfort of nude,” complete with staged photos, membership tiers, and even a promise of free coffee and fruit snacks on Wednesdays. The listed address? 19923 Century Blvd., which, in reality, is home to Taco Bell. The fast-food restaurant remains open and has no plans to shut down or transform into a smoke-filled nudist lounge.
As far as we know, Alexis is the only one who actually received the mailer, though images of it have since circulated in local Facebook groups, sparking plenty of laughs and even some who have taken it seriously. Alexis, who has been pranked by her kids before, isn’t sure who is behind this one. Either way, she thinks it’s hilarious and says she plans to frame the flyer as a keepsake.
The prank has quickly become a quirky neighborhood talking point, and a reminder not to believe everything that shows up in the mail.
