Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded early Saturday to a deck fire on Parrish Drive in Rockville.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piring, the fire was quickly contained with no injuries or displacement, and investigators believe it was caused by improperly discarded grilling materials. Units from several nearby stations assisted, and the fire did not extend into the home.
We will provide an update if additional verified information becomes available.
