Bethesda’s Soorp Khatch Armenian Apostolic Church will host its annual Armenian Food Festival from Friday, Sept. 19 to Sunday, Sept. 21, offering the community a weekend filled with traditional cuisine and celebration. The event will be hosted at the church, located at 4906 Flint Drive. Hours of the event can be seen below:
•Friday, September 19, 3:00pm – 9:00pm
•Saturday, September 20, 11:00am – 9:00pm
•Sunday, September 21, 12:30pm – 4:00pm
Guests will be treated to a variety of authentic Armenian dishes, prepared and served by members of the Soorp Khatch community. From savory classics to fresh-made specialties, the dinner is designed to bring people together over a shared love of food and culture. In addition to the main menu, the festival will feature complimentary Armenian pastries for dessert.
Organizers say the festival is not just about the food, but also about community. “There’s nothing better than sharing great Armenian food with great company,” noted the announcement, encouraging attendees to bring friends and family to enjoy the evening together.
The event is open to the public, giving Montgomery County residents an opportunity to experience Armenian hospitality, taste traditional recipes, and support the local church community.
