Sneak Peek at Maryland’s First Sixty Vines (Opens October 13th)

Sixty Vines, the restaurant brand known for its wine-on-tap system and vineyard-inspired dining, will officially open its first Maryland location on Monday, October 13th at 212 Ellington Boulevard in Downtown Crown, Gaithersburg (sneak peek video below). The restaurant will be located in the space previously occupied by Old Town Pour House.

The Texas-based concept has built its reputation around a one-of-a-kind approach to wine service. With more than 60 wines available on tap, guests are invited to sample, share, and discover new favorites in a relaxed, social atmosphere. The tap system keeps each wine fresh while also reducing packaging waste, offering both a better taste and a more sustainable experience. Representatives from Sixty Vines said it was like “bringing wine country to Gaithersburg.”

The menu features “vineyard-inspired cuisine” designed to pair perfectly with wine. Diners can expect seasonal plates, pizzas, pastas, shareable boards, and entrees crafted with fresh ingredients, served in a setting that evokes the energy of a vineyard tasting room. Large communal tables and an airy, open design further emphasize the brand’s focus on shared experiences.

Sixty Vines has locations in Texas, Tennessee, and Florida, as well as in Northern Virginia, but the Downtown Crown opening marks its very first restaurant in Maryland. For Montgomery County, it represents another high-profile addition to Gaithersburg’s growing food scene, joining a mix of national and local favorites to Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg. Doors will officially open to the public on October 13th.
