On Wednesday morning, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a kitchen fire caused by burnt food at the Fields of Silver Spring Apartments on McKenney Avenue.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire was contained to the first-floor kitchen and extinguished without injuries.
