Emergency Crews Respond to Rollover and Fuel Spill in Rockville

Montgomery County Fire and Reacue Services (MCFRS) responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash near 400 N. Stone Street Avenue at Howard Avenue in Rockville on Thursday afternoon.

According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the collision resulted in a fuel spill, and crews from M732, RS703, E703, and HM707 were on scene. The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) issued the following traffic advisory:

A multi-vehicle collision has North Stonestreet Ave shut down between Lincoln Ave & Crab Ave. An RV involved in the crash is leaking gas. @MCFRS hazmat is on scene.
Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route and expect significant delays.
