Four Montgomery County men were arrested during a September 23 traffic stop on I-81 in Virginia after deputies recovered suspected MDMA, paraphernalia, and cash, with all four facing drug-related charges and two held without bond at the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Regional Jail.
The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office posted the following on its Facebook page on Thursday, September 25: “On September 23rd, 2025, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in the area of MM 282 SB on I-81. During the traffic stop, approximately ten (10) grams of suspected MDMA, paraphernalia, and U.S. Currency were recovered. The driver was identified as Eyob Tsegaye Tekeste of Rockville, MD. The three (3) passengers were identified as Galdy Nelson, of Silver Spring, MD, Paulos Abenet Bekele, of Burtonsville, MD, and Reginald Maurice Diamonte Simmons, of Silver Spring, MD.

I or II Controlled SubstanceDeputies arrested and transported all four (4) occupants to the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren (RSW) Regional Jail where Nelson and Simmons were held without bond. Additional charges are pending.”
