Several Road Closures Announced Ahead of Taste of Bethesda

Bethesda’s biggest food festival is returning this fall, and with it come several road closures to accommodate the thousands of attendees expected in Woodmont Triangle. The 33rd annual Taste of Bethesda will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and drivers should plan ahead as key streets in downtown Bethesda will be blocked to traffic.

MCDOT has shared that 3:00 am until 8:00pm on the event day, Norfolk Avenue, Auburn Avenue, Del Ray Avenue, Cordell Avenue, and St. Elmo Avenue will all be closed to vehicles. The closures will allow for pedestrian access, food vendor setups, live entertainment, and family activities throughout the area.

The popular festival, located just three blocks from the Bethesda Metro, brings together dozens of local restaurants serving a wide range of dishes. Admission is free, and food tickets can be purchased on-site in bundles of four for $5. Each tasting item ranges between one and four tickets, with sales ending at 3:30 p.m. Participating restaurants will serve guests from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
