Fantasticks has closed its location at 915 Ellsworth Drive in Downtown Silver Spring, after opening in the summer of 2024, according to a report by Source of the Spring.
Fans of artisanal gelato and creative dessert shops in downtown Silver Spring were disappointed to discover that Fantasticks, the custom gelato + pop shop located at 915 Ellsworth Drive, has closed its Silver Spring location.
For those unfamiliar, Fantasticks is known for letting customers build their own treats: pick a gelato base or popsicle then choose drizzle and toppings, Despite being listed on its website as “now open” in Silver Spring (among its locations), the store is closed with Google also listing it as “permanently closed.” Fantasticks wasn’t solely a Silver Spring venture. The brand maintains other locations in the region, including:
