One Person Rescued After Vehicle Overturns in Germantown Crash

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a two-vehicle collision in Germantown on Friday morning that left one driver trapped.

Assistant Chief David Pazos shared that crews were dispatched around 9:10am to the intersection of Forest Brook Road and Ebbtide Circle, near Roberto Clemente Middle School. Responders arrived to find one vehicle on its side with the driver trapped inside.

Firefighters worked to safely free the driver, who was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other vehicle involved did not require extrication. Crews cleared the scene shortly after the rescue, and the area has since reopened to traffic.
