Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Set for Onekick Martial Arts’ New Kentlands Location

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Onekick Martial Arts’ new Kentlands location on Thursday, October 16 at 12:00pm. The event will take place at 255 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg, the former home of Charm City Run, which closed earlier this year after two and a half years of operation.

Onekick Martial Arts has earned a strong reputation in Montgomery County for its focus on character development, discipline, and leadership. With its original school thriving at 18311 Leaman Farm Road in Germantown’s Kingsview Village Center, the new Kentlands location represents the next step in the academy’s mission to reach and inspire more students across the community.

The new studio will offer programs for all ages and experience levels, including kids martial arts, teen and adult classes, family programs, and leadership training. Each program emphasizes not only physical fitness and self-defense, but also the development of confidence, respect, and perseverance.

“We’re excited to serve even more families and continue building a strong, positive community,” said Master Chris of Onekick Martial Arts. “Our programs are built on the foundation of character development and personal growth, which are just as important as the physical aspects of martial arts.”

The ribbon cutting will bring together local business leaders, community members, and families to welcome Onekick Martial Arts to the Kentlands neighborhood. Guests are invited to attend the event and learn more about the programs offered at the new location.
