The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has released additional information regarding a homicide investigation that began Sunday morning.
According to MCPD, “On Sunday, October 12, 2025, at approximately 8:23 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the 1700 block of Imperial Drive for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was leaving the residence when her ex-boyfriend approached and shot her multiple times. A witness provided officers with a vehicle and suspect description. Officers located the suspect driving Horizon Place in the 6th district. A pursuit followed, during which the vehicle rolled over and crashed. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to an area hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
The Major Crimes Division- Homicide Section has responded and is investigating. More information will be released when it becomes available, including the names of the decedent and suspect.”
