Rio Lakefront and Locally Crafted in Gaithersburg will host their annual Fall Makers Market on Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 from 11am to 5 pm.
The two-day event will take place along Grand Corner Avenue near Dick’s Sporting Goods and will feature more than 50 local artisans offering handmade items just in time for early holiday shopping.
Guests can browse locally made crafts, jewelry, home décor, and gifts while enjoying food and drinks from nearby restaurants, including True Food Kitchen and California Pizza Kitchen. Families are encouraged to bring children in costume, as kids can ride the carousel for free with a paying adult. Live music will add to the festive atmosphere throughout the weekend.
Shoppers who spend $75 or more at participating Rio retailers can also create a complimentary custom bag charm, valued at $15, at the market’s “Locally Crafted” booth while supplies last. Participating shops include Amazing Lash, Barnes & Noble, Bluemercury, Chico’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, IKEA, IT’SUGAR, Le Macaron, LensCrafters, Locally Crafted Shop, LOFT, South Moon Under, and White House Black Market.
