The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad invites everyone to its annual Rescue Day (Fall Open House and Family Fun Day), this Saturday, October 18, from 11:00am through 4:00pm. Their Rescue Day will once again be held at at the corner of Battery Lane and Old Georgetown Road.
Visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy activities including inflatable axe throwing, engaging safety demonstrations, and a variety of food trucks.
Members of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad will be demonstrating several of their lifesaving skills including CPR and using using hydraulic extrication tools to cut up a car.
Kids will be able to participate in fire hose demonstrations, jump around in a pumpkin-themed Moon Bounce, play Whack-A-Mole and wear and keep a free plastic firefighter helmet.
