  • Montgomery County Department of Transportation is working to implement Flash BRT across the County. The Veirs Mill Road Flash will be a new transit service connecting Wheaton and Rockville with twelve stations along Veirs Mill Road and MD 355. Flash service on Veirs Mill Road will provide faster and more reliable transit service, connecting riders to housing, jobs, the MARC train, and the Metrorail Red Line. The Veirs Mill Road Flash will also include bicycle and pedestrian improvements like continuous sidewalks and safer crossings.
