MINISO, the popular retail and lifestyle brand, will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location at 12266F Rockville Pike in Federal Plaza on Saturday, October 18 at 11am. The first 50 customers will receive 20% off their entire purchase, and shoppers can enjoy 10% off all weekend long as part of the opening celebration.
The new store is located between Tiger Sugar and Fulton Bank, near Torchy’s Tacos. The Rockville location marks another expansion for the global brand, which also operates in Germantown’s Fox Chapel Plaza and previously had a shop at Westfield Montgomery Mall.
MINISO is a Chinese retail and variety store chain with Japanese-inspired branding, known for its wide range of affordable and stylish goods, from cosmetics, stationery, and toys (often featuring popular licensed characters) to kitchenware, home décor, and snacks.
The brand describes itself as a “designer label focused on quality, simplistic design, and low price,” offering new products weekly to stay on top of trends. MINISO operates more than 1,800 stores worldwide across 40+ countries.
