The Crêpe Shoppe to Open First Brick-and-Mortar Location This Week

The Crêpe Shoppe Café will open its first brick-and-mortar location on Wednesday, October 22 at 10 a.m. at 202 Ellington Blvd in Gaithersburg’s Downtown Crown.

The Gaithersburg-based business, known for operating at local farmers markets, will offer a menu featuring both sweet and savory crêpes. The café is located next to the future site of Taco Bar El Güero, which is relocating from its previous Fields Road location.

Founded by Maritza Guzman Dotti, The Crêpe Shoppe emphasizes locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and offers catering services for private and corporate events. Dotti launched the Holy Crêpes food truck in 2013 after more than a decade in the food service industry.

The new Downtown Crown café marks the company’s first permanent storefront and will open with regular hours beginning Wednesday morning.
