FOXES Children’s Business Fair Coming to Gaithersburg This Saturday With 40 Young Entrepreneurs Participating

Gaithersburg’s next generation of business leaders will take center stage this weekend at the FOXES Children’s Business Fair (Fostering Opportunities for Xceptional Entrepreneurial Stars), happening Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will be held at Locally Crafted, located at 35 Grand Corner Avenue in Gaithersburg, between Xfinity and Kohl’s at Rio Lakefront. The fair is open to the public and promises an afternoon of creativity, learning, and community connection.

Approximately 40 young entrepreneurs will be participating, each running their own booth to market and sell original creations. Visitors can shop for a variety of products including slime, jewelry, makeup, artwork, toys, and other handcrafted items, all imagined, designed, and sold by kids.

Organizers say the fair helps participants build real-world business skills, everything from marketing and money management to customer service, while giving them the confidence that comes from seeing their ideas come to life. “The goal is to help kids feel accomplished and inspired while giving them the chance to see what it takes to run a business,” organizers shared.

Booth registration remains open at childrensbusinessfair.org/gaithersburg-md for any last-minute sign-ups. For local families and shoppers, the FOXES Children’s Business Fair offers a fun and inspiring way to spend Saturday afternoon, supporting creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurship among Montgomery County’s youth.
